In honor of its 30th anniversary in 2024, the iconic Oi!/punk band A.C.A.B plans to mark the occasion by performing their entire 2004 album, Bangun at a showcase scheduled for December 3, 2023.

Taking the stage at Bentley Music Auditorium in Mutiara Damansara, the band is eager to celebrate three decades in the industry with a showcase featuring their only full Malay album. Notably, some tracks from the record have never been performed live, presenting a golden opportunity for A.C.A.B fans to immerse themselves in the glory days of when the record was first released.

The event will also showcase emerging talents in the Oi! and Punk genres, including The Hard Crop (Kuala Lumpur), Zero One Heroes (Johor), Incase (Kuala Lumpur), The Murphys (Melaka), Combination 69 (Kuala Lumpur), The Boicott (Perak), Oi! Frequency (Selangor), and DJ sets by Soul Boss (Kuala Lumpur).

Meanwhile, Max Mohammad, A.C.A.B’s vocalist/guitarist, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Both I and A.C.A.B are thrilled to play ‘Bangun’ in its entirety for our fans for the first time. When this album was released in 2004, I was already in the UK pursuing further studies, and unfortunately, Bangun couldn’t be promoted. Nonetheless, it still received a warm reception.

As A.C.A.B approaches its 30th year next year, we aim to celebrate with fans by delivering a live performance of the Bangun album, making it a historic moment for everyone!”
