Founded in 2023, Noisy Headspace emerged as a vibrant addition to the Malaysian indie music scene, driven by a love for independent music and journalism.
We are a fully independent music publication, independently run by one person with the occasional help of contributors who lend their voices, photographs and perspectives to the publication.
Much of what you find here is put together in between the demands of a mundane 9-to-5 job, with articles written during lunch breaks, bands interviewed in the evenings and weekends spent supporting local talent.
While we certainly appreciate and cover international releases, our focus remains on Malaysian music and the artists, bands and communities shaping the local independent and underground scene.
