Shah Alam’s indie-pop sibling duo, FUAD, has just dropped their much-anticipated new single, “Wait and See” from their upcoming sophomore album slated for release later this year.
Described as a spirited indie rock anthem, “Wait and See” encapsulates the tumultuous mix of resentment and longing that often accompanies a breakup. With its upbeat tempo and angsty guitars, the track channels the spirit of 90s female alternative artists like Liz Phair.
Written by Lisa Fuad, the song delves deep into the complexities of female rage and the desire for reconciliation, all while clinging to the hope of a reunion with a former partner.
Fans can expect a music video for “Wait and See” to drop soon, along with news of an exciting launch party.
In other news, FUAD recently reissued their debut album Dispositions in cassette format this February through PARTTIME REKORDS, a subsidiary of the Indonesian-based independent record company, PARTTIME KOLEKTOR.
