Bandcamp, the music distribution platform, has officially announced the return of Bandcamp Fridays, with the first event scheduled for February 7, 2025.  

Bandcamp Friday is a special event where the platform waives its revenue share on all music and merchandise sales, allowing artists to retain 100% of the revenue earned on these days. 

For this year’s first Bandcamp Friday, the platform  has pledged to donate 100% of its revenue from February 7 to MusiCares. The funds will support those affected by the recent Southern California wildfires.  

In addition to February 7, Bandcamp Fridays will continue in 2025 on the following dates:  

• March 7  
• May 2  
• August 1  
• September 5  
• October 3  
• December 5  

Bandcamp Friday was first introduced in March 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. 

Since its inception, the initiative has generated over $120 million in sales for artists and labels worldwide.
