Live Nation Malaysia, the organizer of Maroon 5’s upcoming Kuala Lumpur concert on February 12, has announced a thrilling new ticket option: the audio-only section.
For the low, low price of RM298, you, too, can experience the unmistakable rasp of Adam Levine’s live vocals — without the inconvenience of actually seeing him.
These CAT 9 seats offer no stage visibility whatsoever. Instead, lucky attendees will enjoy what we can only assume is the ambiance of a concrete wall, a large speaker blocking the view or perhaps even the acoustics of a nearby restroom. The exact details remain unclear, adding a delightful sense of mystery to the experience.
In a statement, Live Nation Malaysia clarified that the section doesn’t include visual experience due to “the installation of the FOH structure.” In other words: there’s something big in the way, and rather than let that space go to waste, why not sell tickets to it?
To manage expectations, the organizer has thoughtfully advised potential buyers to consider their options carefully — though refunds, naturally, will not be available. It’s like they’re asking: Are you sure you wanna pay nearly RM300 when you could park outside the stadium and get literally the same experience for free?
