Acclaimed UK jazz drummer and composer Yussef Dayes is set to bring his genre-defying live show, The Yussef Dayes Experience, to Kuala Lumpur this June.

Presented by RK Live Asia, the one-night-only performance will take place on 4 June 2025 at Vox Live.

Hailed as a “linchpin,” “boundary pusher,” and “architect of rhythm,” Dayes’ live performances are known for their spontaneity and immersive energy, blending modern jazz, neo-soul and Afrobeat into a hypnotic sonic experience.

The South London native rose to global prominence as a leading force in the UK jazz renaissance. His 2023 debut solo album Black Classical Music won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Album and received two BRIT Award nominations.
