Celebrating a decade as a cornerstone of the local indie scene, Live Fact is hosting a special anniversary series titled “Can’t Believe It… We Are 10!”, with its upcoming show featuring performances by The Filters and Glass.

Set to take place later this month, the event is part of a five-show series running throughout May and June 2025.

The anniversary marks 10 years since the founding of Live Fact, an independent venue that has long provided space, sound and support to emerging and experimental acts from Malaysia and across the region.

In May, three shows were held at the iconic venue, featuring a powerful lineup of acts including Damn Dirty Apes, Deepset, Moi Last Von and more.

Meanwhile, the June lineup features math rock outfit The Filters, singer-songwriter Amrita Soon and post-rock band Glass, making their return to the stage after a four-year hiatus.

“This series is a tribute to the bands, friends, crews, and communities that helped build this space from the ground up. It’s a thank you to those who kept showing up — from the early noise nights to the quiet reinventions,” said Live Fact in a statement.

“This is not just an anniversary,” the statement continued.

“It’s a reminder that we’re still here, still loud.”

With three shows already completed, two more are scheduled for the rest of June.
