There’s a new hardcore band in town, and the faces might be more familiar than you think.
Brisk, a hardcore/alt-grunge outfit based in Kuala Lumpur, brings together members such as Aidil Rusli of Couple, Hafiz of Sunny Club and more.
The band dropped their debut single, “Do Nothing” on 1st April 2026, describing it as “the perfect mission statement for Brisk, pairing a massive, ‘earworm’ chorus with the raw, jagged vocal delivery fans of Militarie Gun or Drug Church will immediately recognize.”
Brisk is set to perform their debut show at Open Privacy’s Noises & EP Launch Party at Petai Belalang, Kuala Lumpur, on 10th April 2026. The show will also feature dream pop band Women and Children as supporting acts.
Tickets are now available on pentasnasional.com for RM25.
