Kuala Lumpur post-punk outfit Open Privacy will celebrate the release of their debut EP, Noises &, with a launch party on 10 April.

Known for their gritty mix of punk, surf and post-punk, the band features Haqim on vocals and guitar, Zaki on backing vocals and guitar, Afiq on bass, and Arif on backing vocals and drums.

Released on 21 January, Noises & marks the band’s first official body of work, spanning six tracks.

The launch show will take place at Petai Belalang, Kuala Lumpur, with support from Brisk and Women and Children. The show also marks Brisk’s debut performance, with a lineup that includes Aidil Rusli of Couple and Hafiz of Sunny Club.

On the night, Open Privacy will perform the EP in full, alongside three unreleased tracks.
