Terrer Returns with Long-Awaited New Single “Ke Laut”

The release marks their first new music in four years

Kuala Lumpur-based indie rock outfit Terrer makes their return with “Ke Laut” their first single in four years.

Leaning into a more post-rock-adjacent sound, “Ke Laut” sees the band expanding their sonic palette, with lyrics penned by vocalist Faiq Syazwan.

The single arrives alongside a stark black-and-white music video directed by Chloe Man Yup Ee.

Formed in 2018, Terrer has built a reputation for their wide-ranging sound, drawing from garage rock, punk, and indie alternative influences.

The current lineup features Faiq on vocals, Abel and Armaan on guitars, Man on bass, and Helmi on drums.

The band previously released their debut mini-album Kaum Lelaki in 2022, and gained wider attention with their viral track “Hang Loklaq,” which called out toxic masculinity within the local community.

“Ke Laut” is now available to stream on Bandcamp.
