Founded in 2023, Noisy Headspace emerged as a vibrant addition to the music scene, infusing it with the energy of independent journalism.

Driven by the monotony of our day jobs and inspired by the constant demands of music journalism, Noisy Headspace not only documents the Malaysian indie music scene but also serves as a platform for aspiring music writers and journalists to pursue their Almost Famous-esque dreams, filling crucial gaps in music journalism.

We are a fully independent music website. Every piece you find here is crafted by us during brief breaks from our mundane 9-5 jobs — articles written during lunch breaks, bands interviewed in the evenings and weekends dedicated to supporting local talents.

While we certainly appreciate and cover international releases, our unwavering focus remains on elevating the Malaysian indie scene to new heights.
