Capt’n Trips and The Kid are back with their first single since their 2022 album Syntech. Titled “Yoga Instructor Origin Story,” the nearly six-minute introspective track delves into the cyclical nature of finding and losing oneself. The single was released on July 15, 2024.

In the music video, directed by Armin Ilyas, the band embarks on a retreat, playing their instruments by the beach and attempting beginner yoga on the grass. The video was filmed at Sentosa Janda Baik. Watch the full music video below:
