Skramz outfit Kias, alternative rock band Sweetass and grindcore act Tools of the Trade are set to perform at Baybeats 2026. 

The three bands will represent Malaysia at the free four-day festival, which celebrates alternative music, taking place from September 3 to 6, 2026, at Singapore’s Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.

This year’s lineup also features artists from Indonesia, Thailand, Japan and South Korea, alongside Singaporean acts including Subsonic Eye, FUSE and more.

Marking its 25th anniversary, Baybeats 2026 celebrates a quarter-century as Singapore’s largest free alternative music festival, bringing together 47 artists spanning indie, rock, metal, electronic and experimental music.

Over the years, a number of Malaysian artists have performed at the iconic festival, including Midnight Fusic, Sekumpulan Orang Gila, Zamaera, Tres Empre, Dirgahayu, Johny Comes Lately, Golden Mammoth and Airliftz.
