Jabat Erat Fringe Arts Festival Has Announced Its Full Line-Up

The festival will be happening from 5th June to 7th June

More than 20 local and regional acts spanning a wide range of genres will take the stage at the Jabat Erat Fringe Arts Festival 2026, set to run from 5 to 7 June at ODEON KL.

Organised by RockStation Event & Entertainment, the three-day festival brings together artists across shoegaze, indie rock, folk, metal, soul, post-punk, hardcore, emo and more, reflecting the diversity of the independent music scene in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region.

Performances will be split across two stages — ODEON Hall and Laman ODEON — with highlights including Thailand’s Yellow Fang, Indonesia’s DOM65, Philippines act Megumi Arcoda, and Japanese headliners Coaltar of the Deepers.

Additionally, a strong lineup of Malaysian acts such as indie rockers Hawa, neo-folk band Bayangan, Ipoh shoegazers Soft, hardcore unit Man Dead Set and dream pop band Women and Children and more will perform as well.

Beyond live music, the festival will also host Sembang ODEON, a community discussion featuring independent label heads, musicians and creatives, as well as a Record Store Day-style market with vinyl, CDs and cassettes from local distributors.

Festival director Fendi Mazlan described Jabat Erat as a platform for connection across the independent ecosystem, bringing together artists, promoters, labels and audiences from across the region.

“JABAT ERAT is more than a festival, it’s a handshake. A real one. Between promoters, bands, labels, veterans, and the kids just starting out, from Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and everywhere in between,” says Fendi Mazlan, JABAT ERAT artistic director.

“This is where the independent rock and roll fringe community finds each other.”
